The recipes on Real Food Healthy Body represent the way I like to eat. Health and good nutrition are important aspects of my diet, but I still want to enjoy delicious food.
For me, it’s about incorporating less processed ingredients into my recipes without compromising on taste.
I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. After finishing high school, I started working as a model while studying Law and Commerce at university. Shortly after completing my degrees, I secured a job at a law firm and ended up working as a corporate lawyer for 4 years.
During my time as a lawyer, my interest in health and fitness developed. The little spare time that I had was spent reading about nutrition, experimenting with healthier recipes, and training at the gym. This led to my decision in 2013 to quit my job at the law firm and launch Real Food Healthy Body.
The website became a platform to share my recipes. I take all of the photos featured on the website myself, and have grown to love photography. In addition to creating recipes for Real Food Healthy Body, I have also developed recipes for clients in the food, health and fitness industries across Australia, the US and Singapore.
Today, I continue to work as a model and train and compete in Muay Thai. After a couple of years of CrossFit training, I discovered Muay Thai and fell in love with the sport. I had my first Muay Thai fight in late 2016, and my first professional fight in early 2017. Through training for fights, I learnt how food can be used to fuel my body for better performance.
As the way I eat continues to evolve, Real Food Healthy Body evolves too. However, one thing will always remain constant: my recipes must be simple and delicious. I hope you find some recipes that become staples in your daily life.
