Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bars

These healthy chocolate peanut butter bars are no-bake, gluten-free, low sugar and boosted with protein powder.

Start by adding rolled oats, coconut and protein powder to a blender cup. 

STEP 1

Blend to a flour consistency that starts to clump together.

STEP 2

Tip the protein mixture into a bowl, then add natural  peanut butter.

STEP 3

Add brown rice syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract and sea salt to the protein bar mixture.

STEP 4

Stir the base mixture for the peanut butter protein bars until well combined.

STEP 5

Tip the protein bar base into a lined loaf tin.

STEP 6

Press the peanut butter protein mixture firmly into the loaf tin.

STEP 7

Melt dark chocolate for the creamy protein bar topping.

STEP 8

Add natural peanut butter to the melted dark chocolate.

STEP 9

Mix the creamy chocolate peanut butter topping until smooth.

STEP 10

Pour the chocolate topping over the peanut butter  protein base.

STEP 11

Smooth out the chocolate topping, then chill in the fridge or freezer until firm.

STEP 12

Once firm, slice into protein bars with a sharp knife.

STEP 13

Enjoy the chocolate peanut butter protein bars as a healthy dessert or snack.
