HOW TO MAKE CREAMY OAT MILK

This homemade oat milk is easy, creamy, non-slimy and ready in 5 minutes.

Add old-fashioned rolled oats to a blender cup.

STEP 1

Add filtered water and a pinch of sea salt.

STEP 2

Add maple syrup and vanilla extract for a hint of sweetness.

STEP 3

Blend for 20 seconds only for non-slimy oat milk.

STEP 4

Place a fine mesh sieve over a bowl.

STEP 5

Strain the oat milk through the sieve.

STEP 6

Gently swirl the oat milk around the sieve, but do not push it through.

STEP 7

Discard the oat pulp for  non-slimy oat milk.

STEP 8

Rinse out the sieve and strain the oat milk a second time.

STEP 9

Pour the oat milk into a storage bottle or jar.

STEP 10

Store the oat milk in the refrigerator.
